Scholarships

Bloomington Youth Hockey (BYH) will offer a limited number of scholarships each year to enable families who may not otherwise be able to play hockey due to individual financial circumstances. This Scholarship Program is open to any eligible Bloomington Recreational Hockey House or BYH Travel Hockey team player. Scholarships are considered and granted on an individual case-by-case basis. Families may request assistance with league fees, hockey instruction, or equipment. 

Beginning in 2026, applications for the winter season are due by September 1^ST. Decisions will be made as soon as possible, and applicants will be notified of the Committee’s decision. Please see the documents below for more information and the application form.

If the scholarship due date has passed and your financial situation has changed during the season, please feel free to apply, and we will do our best to assist you.
